Flight to Egypt !

So being new to the whole experience of flying to Egypt alone without the family, I was kind of hesitant and didn't know what to expect; especially after the incident of the 24 people they caught trying to bomb a plane through liquids and the tons of restrictions that were added as well, But to my surprise everything was so easy. I went through check-in line in about 45 minutes. Security line took about 20 minutes. My bags weren't opened at all, and none of my friends' as well. (We were eight!)

We flew on Lufthansa (the German airlines). Stopped for transit in Chicago and Frankfurt. All in all from the minute I got to SeaTac airport till I got out of Cairo-airport, the trip was exactly 24 hours. It was a bit exhausting since I didn't get to sleep on the plane, except a couple of hours, but it went by faster than I expected.

once I set my foot into Cairo's airport, i wished i could turn back and go back home till i saw my cousins, uncle and aunt. The people that work there were very rude, people were smoking,it smelled really bad. people cutting in line. i mean they were treating us like garbage ! and all that cuz we're Egyptian with an American passport! WTF right? and on top of all that, it was sooo freaking humid and hot like i've never seen in my life. it was about 44C the day i got there.
Then i thought how bad could it be from here on? the weather? thank God i dont live here but i'll be able to handle it for this month (or so i hope :)). people saying comments on the streets? so what, i'll ignore them. it's worth it since i get to see family and friends. i'm sure i'll have a good time :)
