'tis the Season!

Christmas trees and lights everywhere, holiday songs ringing in your ears, T.V. Commercials, snow after thanksgiving!
A season of Joy, memories of home and family, good days and hard times, personal memories mixed up with world events, Christmas gifts from those special people in your life. LOTS AND LOTS of shopping and lots of hearty food too :)

It’s the Holiday season all over again…

Back to the snow after thanksgiving! It’s been snowing for the past two days, icy roads everywhere, schools canceled AND to add to the list I have been sick, & as a result I’ve been staying home sweet home :)…So being bored at home and looking out the window at the white…. everything! lol I looked back at last Holiday season. A river of memories just flooded my thoughts; I smiled at some and frowned upon others.
It made me realize that certain things will/might happen, though we don’t necessarily want them to
· Some people will let us down, and we’ll let others down
· We will break hearts and will have our hearts broken, probably more than once; and each time will be harder.
· We’ll fight with or lose someone we love
· We’ll blame others for things they didn’t do and will get blamed as well
· We’ll cry because time is passing too fast or because we regret certain things/actions.
· We will stress over problems, either work, school, family or relationships
But also good things will/might happen, like…
· Getting closer with our families and friends or,
· Mending a broken friendship/relationship
· Starting a new life somewhere new
· Making new friends or,
· Hanging out with good friends or loved ones.
· May be meeting someone special.
· Receiving a favorite Xmas gift.
· Or even enjoying this delicious hot chocolate cup on a cold winter night!

I am just thankful for everything I’ve been through whether it’s good or bad. Because it means I have a home and family that love me. It means I interact with people; I smile, laugh, cry, and play.
It means I feel cold and warm, frightened and safe, happy and sad, hurt and loved, sick and well…

It means I get up every morning with a new chance to do something different…

It means I’m still ALIVE!

So live life to the fullest and enjoy the season :)
Happy Holidays everybody…

How Friendships end...

Both Friends will think the other is busy and will not contact, thinking it may be disturbing.

As time passes both will think let the other contact.

After that each will think why should i contact first.

Here your love will be converted to Hate.

Finally without contact the memory becomes week.

They forget each other.

One fine Day they will meet and blame one another.

SO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR FRIENDS, even if it's just a Hi!...

Ecstatic!

Despite the fact that this isn't really one of my good days, considering not having enough sleep last night, my neck hurting, having finals, and weather being very dark and gloomy; today I woke up feeling just ECSTATIC!Ii don't even know why.
I tell you, I haven't felt like that for quiet a while.
So I decided to make note of that on here :)

how smart is your right foot ?!

yet another FWD :)
and posted all over the Internet as well!

But i thought it was fun. try it out just not infront of people lol.
its basically telling your brain to do two different things at one time!

1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with you right hand.

Your foot will change direction !!

no matter how many times you try it, u won't be able to continue making clockwwise circles with your foot, and a counterclock wise "6" with ur hand at the same time :)

and you and i know you're probably going to try it again by the end of the day!

enjoy..

The Tree

this morning i was checking my email and got this FWD story from a friend.
it spoke to me in a way, and i thought i would share it with everybody, might it be an inspiration :)

The moral of this story is that, when things don't seem to be
going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place
your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts.
Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way
they had imagined.

THE TREE

Once there were 3 trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing
their hopes and dreams when the 1st tree said, "Someday, I hope to be
a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems and
be decorated with intricate carvings. Everyone would see my beauty."
The 2nd tree said, "Someday, I will be a mighty ship. I will
take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of
other world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."
Finally, the 3rd tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest
tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my
branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am
reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time, and people will always
remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of
woodsmen came upon the trees. One came to the 1st tree and said, "This looks
like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell th e wood to a carpenter," and
he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the
carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.
At the 2nd tree, one of the other woodsman said, "This looks
like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The
2nd tree was happy, because he knew he was on his way to becoming a
mighty ship.
When the woodsmen came upon the 3rd tree, the tree was
frightened, because it knew that, if it is cut down, its dream would
not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special
from my tree, so I'll take this one," and he cut it down.
When the 1st tree arrived at the carpenter's, he was made into
a feed box for animals, placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was
not at all what he had prayed for. The 2nd tree was cut and made into a
small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had
come to an end. The 3rd tree was cut into large pieces and left
alone in the dark.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.
Then one filtered day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave
birth, and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was
made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib
for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the
importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest
treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from
the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they
were out on the water, a great storm arose, and the tree didn't think
it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping
man, and he stood and said "Peace," and the storm stopped. At this
time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried
through the streets, and the crowd mocked the man who was carrying it.
Finally, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air
to die at the top of a hill.

When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong
enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as
possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.

We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know
that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best...
Sometimes the heart sees what the eyes can't.
